Year 10 has just performed their first assessment task for the year and I was impressed to see their level of commitment and effort. The Commedia Dell'arte piece that they devised on their own was true to form and involved great acting by the different characters.
Year 11 are busy rehearsing for their duologue performances from A Dolls House. The snippets that I have seen are realistic and expressive. I can;t wait for the end result. Although costume design does not come naturally to all, a little effort and research can go I long way and I urge you to keep on with your designs over the next two weeks. Please remember to mount these neatly and to make sure your materials match your design colours.
Thank you also, year 11 for your excellent commitment in each of your class workshops - Improvisation, Role development, Stanislavsky and mime. You always try your best and make the lessons fun. Your peers learn so much by each of your involvement.
Year 12 have just completed their first HSC examination and continue to work on their IP's. I look forward to your progress performance in week 10 and hope you all have your words learnt by this then. Remember to make a time to see me if you need any extra assistance with these projects.
Thank you all for being wonderful students. Keep up the hard work and you'll achieve your goals!
Mrs J.
